Hello All,
I’m excited to be leading a passionate group of community service volunteers over the exciting events we have planned for next year. I’d like to share a little about who we are and what we do, and hopefully you’ll drop by a meeting and see what we’re so excited about!
Rotary Club of Aurora is ‘like a small boat in the ocean’. We sail alongside thousands of other boats, all on a mission to do good. Cruising right behind us is Rotary International, a Mother Ship which stands ready to support us in the ‘good war’ against illiteracy, disease, thirst, maternal and childcare etc. We together, are ‘setting big waves in motion’ by tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges locally and globally.
Who are we?
We are young professionals working hard to establish our careers. Some of us have families
with kids in school or college. Others are single, homemakers, empty nesters or retired folk.
We are a diverse group of individuals, who share many things in common; like our passion for community, a desire to make the world a better place and our hope to pass on values we cherish to the next generation.
